You can now see which OS is being used for each of your provisioned Odoo servers. Cloudpepper selects the operating system based on the highest compatible Python version for the selected version of Odoo to ensure maximum performance and it will always be either Debian or Ubuntu.

Backups to your preferred S3 storage provider are now directly made from your Odoo instance server for better security and performance.

Any custom Python packages you install on your production environment will now also automatically install in the staging environment for a smooth experience.

We’ve made several improvements on the Import backup functionality, one of which is that the platform now shows you an indication of how far the import of your backup has reached.

You want to create a new Odoo instance but do not have a domain name yet? You can now create your Odoo instance using a free subdomain name of Cloudpepper, ie. yourcompany.cloudpepper.site. This also makes it easy to quickly spin up a new Odoo instances without having to change any DNS settings. If you want to change your domain name, you can always edit your domain name under your instance settings in My Cloudpepper.

For a simple one-click Odoo set-up with high performance, we’ve introduced the Easy plan which comes with the server included. So there is no need to attach a cloud provider and provision a server. To start, you just choose how much memory you need and where in the world you want your Odoo instance to be hosted. The servers for our Easy plans use high performance AMD EPYC CPUs, which came out at the top of our Odoo performance benchmark test.

You can now view how much backup space you are using on a daily basis. To view, click on the graph icon under your Settings.
