Common questions
Section titled “Common questions”Where are my Cloudpepper backups hosted?
You can choose any S3- or SFTP-compatible storage to keep your backups. We also offer Cloudpepper Managed Backup Storage in OVH data centers in France — geographically and operationally independent from your production server, encrypted at rest by default.
Can I run Odoo on my own cloud account?
Yes — connect any cloud provider (AWS, DigitalOcean, Hetzner, Azure, …) or your own on-premises server through SSH and manage it from your Cloudpepper dashboard. See the self-host guide.
Is there a way to test changes without breaking production?
Yes — every paid plan supports staging environments. Spin up a production-identical copy, apply your changes, then promote when you're confident.
